The X Factor star Olly Murs is unrecognisable as wild cowboy in hilarious throwback photos before he found pop star fame

OLLY Murs’ fans could not get over how different the pop singer looked in a series of flashback pictures shared on his Instagram page.

After seeing the pictures on Timehop, Olly clearly couldn’t resist in giving his fans a chuckle with the hilarious photos.

In fact, the 32 year old is almost unrecognisable in his pre-fame days, appearing slightly dishevelled and less clean-cut, especially in a snap which shows Olly seemingly worse for wear.

Olly wowed Simon Cowell and the rest of the panel with his funky performance of Stevie Wonder’s Superstition, before Joel McElderry took the winning spot.

And reminding his fans of what he was up to before he hit the big time, Olly posted a couple of throwback pics on Thursday.

In one photo he rocks an unbuttoned, yellow and black checked shirt to expose his bare torso, topped off with a thin black scarf tied around his neck.

While in another, Olly poses for a photo with his friend Lorenzo as he enjoys a beer.

"Me and Lorenzo in 2008 [laugh-crying emoji] #throwback," he wrote alongside it.

And it’s not the first time this month Olly has been reminiscing about the past.

While their break-up inspired a lot of his new music, the Troublemaker hitmaker has been finding things tough.

"It’s really tough going through a break up you know, we’ve all been through break ups right?" the popstar asked fans as he performed in London.
