World War 3: Iran issues warning of DEATH as Poland and US host ‘anti-Iran’ summit

IRAN’S foreign ministry is furious at Poland for organising an “anti-Iranian” conference in the country alongside the US.

February’s summit, to be held in Poland, was seen as a “hostile act” by Iran, with the country considering reciprocating, according to the state-run IRNA news agency. The conference was announced by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who is on a tour of the Middle East to promote President Donald Trump’s anti-Iranian message. He also said the conference was to discuss the “important element of making sure Iran is not a destabilising influence”.

In a statement released by the US State Department, the conference will address “terrorism and extremism, missile development and proliferation, maritime trade and security and threats posed by proxy groups across the region”.

Iranian foreign minister Mohammed Javad Zarif lashed out at the Polish government on Twitter issuing a stark warning.

He wrote: “Reminder to host/participants of anti-Iran conference: those who attended last anti-Iran show are either dead, disgraced or marginalised.

“And Iran is stronger than ever. Polish government can’t wash the shame. While Iran saved Poles in WWII, it now hosts desperate anti-Iran circus.”

The IRNA said Poland’s Charge d’Affaires “provided explanations about the conference and said it was not anti-Iran”.
