She tried to use their stolen credit card to buy tobacco
A woman burgled her own parents' home to steal cash and a credit card which she used to try to buy tobacco.
Anastasia Theofilou, of Adelaide Street, Stonehouse, Plymouth admits raiding the home in Ponsonby Road, Stoke, Plymouth on July 29 last year.
She also admitted fraudulent use of a stolen credit card later that day.
Theofilou admitted possession of a small amount of heroin on July 31 and theft of fragrances worth £180 from Boots in Drake Circus on October 10, reports plymouthherald.
She finally pleaded guilty to failing to answer her bail and attend Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on October 26.
Nick Lewin, for Theofilou, said she had a “great history of drug-related acquisitive crime” but added that the burglary was a “step up”.
Judge Paul Darlow adjourned sentence until January 26 for a probation report.
He told her: “All options must remain open. Previous community orders do not seem to have worked. She should not get her hopes up.”
