Train services between Exeter and Exmouth won't be running today

National Rail have revealed that there will be no trains running between Exeter, Exmouth and Yeovil today (September 10).

The company has said that they have had to close the line completely in order for track works to be completed.

On National Rail's website it reads: "Track work is taking place between Exeter St Davids and St James Park, closing the line.

"Great Western Railway replacement buses will run between Exeter St Davis and Exmouth.

"South Western Railway replacement buses will run between Exeter St Davids and Yeovil Junction."

There will be no trains running between Yeovil Junction and Exeter St Davids and between Exeter St Davids and Exmouth.

This will be the second Sunday in a row that rail passengers have faced disruption to their travel plans.

A spokesperson for National Rail has previously told Somerset Live : "Track work is taking place between Axminster and Yeovil Junction, closing the line.

"Buses will replace trains between Exeter St Davids and Yeovil Junction."
