TOYS R US has recalled a baby toy amid fears pieces could break off and pose a choking hazard to babies.
Parents are being urged to bring the Bruin Wiggle Ball back into Toys R Us stores for a refund after the toy retailer received six reports of rubber knots detaching from the toy in the US.
In four of those cases pieces were found in children’s mouths and around 30,000 have been pulled from the shelves in the US while a further 3,000 have been removed in Canada.
Even though the recall featured on the US website, the product has disappeared from the company’s UK site.
The Wiggle Ball toy, which is also known as a Giggle Ball, has textured bumps for gripping and has orange, green and yellow rubber knobs around the surface.
