ANDREW MARR hilariously paid his own tribute to England manager Gareth Southgate by opening his show styling himself on the England boss’ iconic waistcoat look.
The young and talented team have become the first England side to qualify for a World Cup semi-final since Italia 90, when they lost on penalties to West Germany in a heartbreaking shoot-out.
The win has set up a semi-final against Croatia while France and Belgium face off in the other last-four match.
Following the win on Saturday, Prime Minister Theresa May said: “Huge congratulations to Gareth Southgate and his team. Another excellent win to make the whole country proud.”
While Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn stepped up his campaign for a bank holiday if England wins the World Cup.
He said there would be "a lot of happiness around" and it would be a good idea to have a public holiday to help people celebrate.
