SERGIO GARCIA’S wife, Angela Garcia, couldn’t resist giving the Ryder Cup 2018 winner a huge snog as Europe clinched victory at the golf tournament in France yesterday.
Europe’s golfers won back the Ryder Cup after beating the US team 17.5-10.5 at Le Golf National near Paris.
And Sergio Garcia, 38, was overcome with emotion as he embraced his wife, Angela, following the win.
The Spanish golfer gave his spouse a passionate snog as they hugged on the course.
The couple couldn’t stop beaming away as they held each other’s gaze and celebrated Europe’s win.
Sergio broke down in tears on the day after beating Ricky Fowler to become the most successful player in Ryder Cup history.
Sergio also opened up about the “rough year” he’s had and said the win “means a lot”.
"What a week,” he said. “It's been a rough year, but you know, we fought hard. Believe in me. I’m so happy to get the cup back.”
Talking about his scoring record: “It means a lot, but at the end of the day, I’ve always said it, It’s about the team, and I’m happy that I was able to help.
