THE son of a £101million lottery winner has lost a legal battle to force his dad to bankroll his lavish lifestyle.
He quit his IT job and splurged £1.6million on houses and luxury gifts. But things turned sour when the couple refused his demands for more cash.
Ex-Royal Navy officer Michael demanded £5m, which was “the final straw” Judge Nigel Gerald said yesterday at Central London County Court.
“Since then Dave has not spoken to his son and no more money has been given to him,” the judge said.
Michael and his partner, James Beedle, 34, from Portsmouth, blew £30,000 a month. The pair paid £1,000 a week for food, which the judge branded an “astonishing” level of spending.
Angie, 53, said she told Michael to “stop going to the Ritz for lunch and go to McDonalds instead”.
