Heavy showers will continue into the evening lasting most of the night
It will be another changeable day with sunshine and frequent showers today in the South West. Some are likely to turn heavy, with a risk of hail and perhaps thunder.
The maximum temperature will be 16 °C. Tonight heavy showers will continue into the evening, lasting most of the night across Devon and Cornwall. However, they will ease across parts of the west country through the early hours. The minimum temperature will be 7 °C.
Tomorrow, Sunday, will be a more settled day on the whole with long sunny spells. The odd shower is still possible in a few spots but most places will avoid these. The maximum temperature will be 17 °C.
The outlook for Monday to Wednesday is rather cloudy at times, but some sunny spells breaking through and staying mostly dry. It will be chilly by night, with mist or fog possible. Forecasters predict it could become more unsettled by mid-week.
