PIERS MORGAN, who presents Good Morning Britain alongside Susanna Reid, had a debate with Julia Bradbury on Twitter after the show’s interview with Meghan Markle’s dad Thomas Markle today.
Meghan Markle’s father Thomas, 74, spoke on Good Morning Britain today in which he revealed he hadn’t spoken to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since June, despite her now being pregnant. Following today’s interview Piers Morgan, 53, shared a tweet regarding his in-depth chat with Thomas with the comment: “Come on Meghan, do the right thing & call him. He’s your dad.” Seemingly unimpressed by his remark, Julia Bradbury, 48, responded to the host in view of her 76,000 followers writing: “I have no idea, you have no idea, what has happened between them. You can't say 'do the right thing' when you're not privy to what is private Mr Morgan.”
Piers hit back at Julia writing: “I have a very good idea actually, as I've spoken at length on numerous occasions to one of the two people involved.
Julia replied: “As a journalist you know that one side of the story, is not the entire story.
“But that doesn't necessarily generate enough headlines fast enough for rolling 24 hour news of course.”
Piers also responded to a Twitter user who penned: “No one cares about her dad, just like she doesn't. This is getting old.”
During today’s interview, Piers and Susanna quizzed Thomas about his relationship with Meghan.
