Paul 'Trouble' Anderson’s tragic death was confirmed on social media this afternoon by fellow DJ Gordon Mac. The DJ was first diagnosed with cancer in his left lung back in 2011 before it returned this summer, his sister previously revealed. He will be sorely missed by the Mi-Soul family and by all that had the privilege to know him #RIPTROUBLE.”
Gordon went on: “Myself and Mi-Soul are very sad to announce that our friend and colleague Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson has passed away.
“Following a long and very distinguished career, Paul was with Mi-Soul from day one and not only contributed to our output with his brilliant Saturday night mix but he was also a superstar at all our live events.”
He continued: “At this time, there are no further details regarding Paul’s death, but we would ask all Mi-Soul listeners to respect the privacy of Paul’s family.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Paul’s nearest and dearest. He will be sorely missed by the entire Mi-Soul family and by all that had the privilege to see him live. RIP. Trouble.”
Just three days ago, Paul’s sibling Hayley spoke out on behalf of the family to give fans an update.
She apologised for the lack of communication on a Go Fund Me page which was first set up three months ago.
The post read: “Paul is still fighting one day at a time and as long as we breathe there is always a chance of a miracle.
