IT TOOK Noemie Lopian more than 30 years to muster the courage to read her late father's Holocaust memoir.

Mikorey had also published anti-Jewish writings, not least his 1936 treatise, Das Judentum In Der Kriminalpsychologie (Judaism In Criminal Psychology).

Abundantly used as a basis for his lectures this thesis was an attempt to "prove" - based on history and the philosophies of religion and law - that the so-called "international Jewry conspiracy" used its extensive knowledge of criminal psychology in its quest for world domination.

Mikorey was also a close friend of Hans Frank, governor general of occupied Poland, responsible for the exploitation and murder of hundreds of thousands of Polish civilians, as well as the deportation and murder of Polish Jews.
