Naby Keita has played his last home game for RB Leipzig after being sent-off for the fourth time this season during their 3-0 away defeat by Mainz on Sunday.
Keita was dismissed for his second yellow card in injury time and will miss the side's final home game against Wolfsburg on May 5 due to the one-game suspension.
Pablo De Blasis put Mainz ahead from the penalty spot after 29 minutes before a couple of late goals sealed the win late on.
The dismissal means that the midfielder will not play at Leipzig's Red Bull Arena as one of their players again because the 23-year-old has already agreed a deal to move to Liverpool in the summer.
Keita will join the Premier League side with a poor disciplinary record as prior to Sunday's game he was sent off three times in the space of a month.
Keita was given a three-match Bundesliga ban after being sent off for a high tackle in the final eight minutes of Leipzig's 2-2 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach on September 16.
He was then dismissed while playing for Guinea in a World Cup qualifier on October 7 and was shown a red card during Leipzig's German Cup (DFB-Polkal) match against Bayern Munich after 53 minutes for two bookable offences, the first of which came on the stroke of half-time on October 25.
Keita completed his £55million record move to Liverpool back in August and he will wear Steven Gerrard's iconic No 8 jersey when he moves to Merseyside.
Keita will play his last game for Leipzig ahead of his switch to the English top-flight away to Hertha Berlin on May 12.
