Australia's addiction with Netflix has seen us watching on buses, trains and planes, but new research has revealed some of us are streaming from public toilets.

More than 8 percent of Aussie's watch their favourite shows from a public bathroom.

The numbers come from a Netflix survey which has revealed a staggering 59 percent of Australian's are watching on the go.

Interestingly 34 percent are watching Netflix content on their daily commute to work, 32 percent are watching at a cafe or restaurant and surprisingly 8 percent of Aussies are streaming in a public bathroom.

According to the streaming giant, public bingers rank having access to movies or shows higher than food and water as 'essential' items for travelling or commuting.

The Netflix data also revealed 61 percent of Australians are publicly bingeing on aeroplanes- more than any other country.

And with so many watching on the go, 45 percent of Aussies have caught someone snooping on their screen.

But 'screen snooping' can have consequences with 11 percent of people saying they have had a show or movie spoiled by seeing someone else's screen.
