MIDTERM election results have already started to trickle in. Here is why Florida looks likely to be a close contest as the Republicans pull ahead in Tennessee.
Votes in Florida are said to be split in both the Senate and gubernatorial races ahead of the midterm elections on November 6.
Incumbent Democrat Senate Bill Nelson is slightly ahead of state Governor Rick Scott.
They have 49 percent and 47 percent voter support retrospectively.
The gubernatorial race is also extremely close, as Democrat Andrew Gillum has 49 percent of the vote, but Republican Ron DeSantis has 48 percent.
Things were different back in September, as Bredesen was edging ahead of Blackburn with five points.

Opinions polls are predicting a close race between the Democrats and Republicans.
Results are then expected to begin to trickle in during the early hours of November 7.
