MELANINA Trump was overshadowed by Michelle Obama after both the former First Lady and her predecessor visited children in hospital yesterday.
Melania Trump kept up the First Lady tradition of visiting a Washington children’s hospital over the festive period. Mrs Trump did the rounds at the neonatal intensive care unit at Children’s National Health System on Thursday. She met with families and children treated there and brought smiles to those who will be spending there Christmas away from home.
But her trip was overshadowed by Michelle Obama, who made a trip of her own and danced away at Colorado children's hospital on Thursday afternoon.
The former First Lady visited the Children’s Hospital in Colorado where she was joined by Santa Claus.
Michelle Obama won the heart of the crowd, overshadowing the First Lady’s public appearance.
Ms Obama admitted she didn’t know how to do the popular dance move “the floss”.
Patient, Emma Jones, 14, showed off her moves by doing the floss and the orange justice dance moves from the video game Fortnite.
The former First Lady stood up and tried to do the latest dance craze, causing the crowd to erupt in cheers.
Mrs Trump read Oliver the Ornament to around two dozen children spending their Christmas in hospital.
The boys and girls she met, who ranged in age from 16 months to six years old, were all born prematurely at 24 weeks.
