On board with Meghan: Duchess watched a Diane Keaton film as she drank champagne and peppermint tea while flying to Toronto to visit best friend Jessica Mulroney
It was recently revealed that Meghan enjoyed a solo trip to Toronto to visit best friend Jessica Mulroney.
And now it's emerged that the Duchess of Sussex, 37, has got her in-flight entertainment routine down to a tee - enjoying Diane Keaton film Book Club as she enjoyed a glass of champagne.
The royal was said to be dressed casually in a black jumper, jeans and flats for the long-haul flight, teamed with a baseball cap.
She was also reported to drink peppermint tea as she flew to Toronto with Air Canada, accompanied by two bodyguards.
A source told Royal Central: 'Meghan was lovely. She had two secret service guys with her, but it was all very low key.
Book Club, which stars Keaton alongside Candice Bergen, Jane Fonda and Mary Steenburgen, tells the story of four friends who have their lives changed after reading after reading 50 Shades of Grey.
It comes after it was reported that Meghan had flown to Toronto for a three-day trip last week to visit best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney.
The pair met while the former actress was living in the Canadian city filming Suits and have remained close friends ever since, with Mulroney's three young children acting as page boys and a flower girl at the royal wedding.
Her stylist best friend reportedly advised Meghan to wear the black tuxedo dress on her return to London for the Hamilton performance Wednesday night.
'Meghan spent three days holed up at Jessica Mulroney and her husband Ben's home in Toronto,' according to Omid Scobie, ABC News royal contributor.
