Mega Man Legacy Collection Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

Complete with amiibo support and new features, Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 will be available on both the Nintendo eShop from May 22, 2018.

Collection 1 boasts the first six games - all originally available on the NES system - as well as a range of concept and production art, and songs from the game. You'll also be able to unlock a range of new challenges designed by Mega Man fans - which used to only be available on the 3DS - with a Mega Man amiibo.

Collection 2, on the other hand, including Mega Man 7-10, and all their accompanying DLC, bonus stages, as well as art and music from those games, too.

"As part of the 30th Anniversary celebration of the Blue Bomber and the upcoming Mega Man 11 in late 2018, we’re bringing ten of his classic adventures to Nintendo Switch!" says Capcom in a recent blog update. "Complete with brand-new features for Mega Man Legacy Collection and exclusive challenges for Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, you can enjoy busting ‘bots anytime, anywhere when both collections arrive as individual digital downloads on the Nintendo eShop and as a combo package."

You'll be able to buy Collection 1 for $15, and Collection 2 for $20 (there are no UK-specific prices as yet) and download the games directly from the Nintendo eShop.
