David Cameron reveals Barack Obama calls him 'Bro'

LONDON — David Cameron says his relationship with President Barack Obama is so close that the Commander in Chief calls him "bro".

The admission came in an interview with the Mail on Sunday when the Prime Minister was asked about his relationship with Washington.

"The President has said the special relationship is stronger than it has ever been privately and in public and I agree," Cameron told the Mail on Sunday in an interview.

It certainly seems like an improvement on "Yo, Blair," which is how Obama's predecessor George W. Bush addressed Tony Blair.

Cameron and Obama have projected a cosy relationship in the public eye. In December 2013, they snapped a selfie at the funeral of Nelson Mandela, in March 2012 they went to a basketball game together and in May 2011 they teamed up for a game of ping pong where they were beaten by a couple of 16-year-olds during Obama's state visit to Britain.

The Prime Minister, who last week launched the Conservative's first poster of the 2015 General Election, is in full campaigning mode with polling day just four months away on May 7.
