THE Swindon Chilli Fiesta will return to Wharf Green for its fifth year.
Summer will well and truly heat up as an array of the UK’s best chilli companies will showcase their wares for visitors to try and buy at the free event.
Guests can try extremely hot sauces, milder morsels, and chilli-infused chocolate cocktails, beers and cider.
A top line-up of musicians and singers will be performing live music throughout the day, including Jordan Pearce, James Millard, Jordan Marvel, Lola Funsho, Louie & Billie, and the Substitutes.
The event runs from 10.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday, July 28, with a Clash of the Titans Chilli Eating Contest at 3pm.
Competition contestants will consume some of the spiciest chillies in the world.
Anyone brave souls who want to take part should let a host know on the day.
Di Powell, inSwindon chief executive said “We are really looking forward to welcoming the Chilli Fiesta to the town centre for a fifth year.
“The festival is a real celebration of food, drink and music with a sizzling atmosphere.
More than 2,000 people visited last year’s event and this year should see similarly-huge crowds coming along.
