BREXITEER Owen Paterson has warned Prime Minister Theresa May that failure to stick to her Brexit red lines would cause "catastrophic damage to the whole political process" in Britain.
Speaking to BBC News, the Tory MP claimed failing to deliver Brexit to British voters would result in a taunted integrity of the British political system.
This would cause, he argued, Britons to lose all faith in their politicians and other "unpleasant things to come out of the woodworks".
The prominent Brexiteer added the Prime Minister should re-evaluate the Government's position on Brexit and "judge" her Cabinet minister's stance carefully at the next meeting on Friday.
He said: “Brexit was endorsed again by the general election where 85 percent of the votes went to Conservative and Labour who said to honour the referendum result we have to leave single market, customs union and the European Court of Justice (ECJ).
