LOVE Island fans were left outraged over Olivia Attwood’s “lie” about Chris Hughes during Wednesday night’s episode.
Talking in the Beach Hut, she complained: "I'm a bit gutted to be in the bottom four, and it’s like he just ran straight past me to go and comfort Tyla. I feel like he is a nice person and he does do that stuff because he’s nice.”
Olivia then went to talk to the girls, revealing that Chris left her and said he’d “be a minute”, revealing he was “going to comfort Tyla”.
But viewers were not happy with the comments, knowing what Chris had really just said to her.
Chris had left Olivia to head to the smoking area, where Tyla was chilling after her row with Theo.
He had gone over and hugged Tyla, giving her a kiss and telling her he “loved her”.
But Chris was actually heard saying to Olivia he was going to have a cigarette – not that he was going to comfort Tyla.
Olivia later had second thoughts about dumping Chris, fearing what the public would think of her.
But Chris told Jamie Jewitt he was “done” with Olivia, revealing all about the “spiteful” comments he had made to her.
Viewers took to Twitter, believing Olivia was trying to make Chris look bad with one saying: “Chris said he was going for a smoke not going to talk to Tyla.”
A second commented: “When Liv said to everyone that Chris said he was going to talk to Tyla when he clearly said he was going for a cigarette.”
Another added: “Liv saying Chris walked past saying ‘One second, going to talk to Tyla’ ….why you chatting s**t AGAIN?”
