The striker visited the south of France to celebrate his partner Georgia's 22nd birthday
Liverpool star Danny Ings took a trip to the French Riviera to celebrate his partner's birthday this week.
The Reds star, like the rest of his teammates who aren't involved in international football, is currently enjoying some time off ahead of the pre-season preparations.
And to coincide with his girlfriend Georgia's birthday celebrations, the striker flew into Cannes in the south of France to mark the occasion with friends.
Ings organised the small gathering on a boat off the coast of the resort town with Partick Thistle's Ryan Edwards, his girlfriend Oana and Georgia, who turned 22 on Sunday.
In a post on his Instagram account on Sunday, the Liverpool forward wished a happy birthday to the Australian model.
"I love you both so much @oana_simon & @ryanedwardsfootball and thank you to my world @ingstagram10 for bringing us all together, love you #BirthdayGirl #Blessed #Cannes #minimlatanlines".
After battling back from a season-ending injury to his left knee in 2015, Ings suffered a similar problem in his right one in October last year and hasn't played for the Reds since.
The former Burnley man is back in the gym however and set himself the gruelling challenge of a 21-mile swim in the Reds' Melwood pool - the equivalent of the English channel.
The challenge took four months and covered 1700 lengths in the pool in Melwood, and the 24-year-old will continue his rehabilitation when he returns to pre-season this summer.
