Mark Lawrenson's predictions have raised a stir this season...
Liverpool will go the entire Premier League season unbeaten when they beat Middlesbrough on Sunday – according to Mark Lawrenson.
Supporters have noticed a growing trend throughout the campaign, with the ex-defender’s pre-match predictions for BBC Sport never resulting in a defeat for his former club.
With one game left, Liverpool sat on top of his prediction league table with 26 wins and 11 draws.
Yet despite an unbeaten season to celebrate, it is unclear whether Liverpool would be taking the league title back to Merseyside, after their haul of 92 points was matched by Chelsea.
According to Lawrenson’s final table, Middlesbrough and Hull would be relegated - though the third spot would be a toss-up between Watford, Swansea and Southampton.
Manchester City and Arsenal, meanwhile, would join the Reds and Chelsea in next season’s Champions League.
