Supporters have had their say in the debate over who should play in goal against Sevilla

Such was the case with Jurgen Klopp on Tuesday evening, when he confirmed suggestions Loris Karius and not Simon Mignolet would step between the sticks for Liverpool's Champions League group opener against Sevilla tonight.

Given Karius has made just one appearance since January, it was something of a surprise.

Klopp, though, has several goalkeeping options, with Wales international Danny Ward also available.

With the rumours swirling earlier this week, we asked who should start in goal for Liverpool against Sevilla.

From more than 5,000 votes, almost two-thirds said Mignolet deserved to wear the gloves against Sevilla.

But should Liverpool secure a winning start at Anfield, surely few supporters will grumble at the goalkeeper.
