Hollywood stars Chris Hemsworth, 34, and Elsa Pataky, 41, are known for their down-to-earth lifestyle.
And so it's no wonder the bohemian A-listers decided to treat their children- India, 6 and four year-old twin boys Tristan and Sasha - to a quiet beach-side family getaway this weekend.
Taking to Instagram to share a series of intimate holiday snaps on Saturday, Chris shared a photo of himself teaching one of his sons how to fish.
With Elsa presumably behind the camera, Chris is seen crouching down beside his fair-haired son who held a fishing rod with both hands.
Despite his pintsize stature, the little lad looked more than capable with the fishing equipment.
While the sun set behind the hills in the distance, Chris - clad in a white T-shirt and baseball cap - gazed at his boy lovingly.
In another snap, the actor was seen placing a caring hand on his son's head while staring out to sea, savouring the precious moment.
Chris also shared a candid beach selfie with Elsa as they posed on the white dunes.
While the mother-of-three snuggled under his arm, the Chris smiled into the lens while sporting messy bedhead locks.
Completely make-up free, Elsa glowed while showcasing her ageless complexion.
Boasting a shaggy beach do, she rugged up against the chill in a cream cardigan.
It comes as Chris Hemsworth gears up to begin promotion for his latest big screen effort, Bad Times at The El Royale.
Slated for release in Australian cinemas this October, the crime thriller sees Chris play a con-artist who falls on hard times alongside a star-studded cast including Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm and Jeff Bridges.
