Jessica Biel and husband Justin Timberlake, 37, had every intention of giving birth to their son Silas, age two, at home.
But on April 8, 2015, Biel was unexpectedly rushed to the hospital for an emergency C-Section.
In a new book by celebrity nanny Connie Simpson, the 36-year-old actress opened up about how her plans for a 'serene, natural childbirth,' fell apart.
'Our story with Nanny Connie started the day we brought our son home from the hospital,' she explained in a book excerpt. 'That may sound like a normal statement coming from new parents, except our birth plan was anything but normal.
'I was obsessed with everything organic, toxin-free, natural, and homeopathic for our kid, who came into this world in an operating room through an incision,' she explained.
The complete and detailed story can be found in the upcoming self-help book for new mothers—The Nannie Connie Way: Secrets to Mastering the First Four Months of Parenthood—available on April 10.
Silas, who turns three in a matter of days, will most likely become a big brother down the road.
In an interview with Beats 1 Radio, Timberlake told Zane Lowe that he wasn't done growing his family.
'I want to have as many kids as we can, if I'm being honest,' he said.
