Vessel boasts plush features including outdoor cinema
Luxury cruise liner the Caribbean Princess docked in Liverpool this morning.
The huge ship arrived at the Pier Head this morning at around 9am - and is bound to have turned some heads on The Strand.
It boasts a number of plush features including an 850-seat outdoor movie theatre, a gym, library and a number of shops.
The 3,300 passengers on board are mostly British and American tourists - with roughly 1,200 catering staff on board in the ship’s bars and restaurants.
The Caribbean Princess is the second largest liner in the Princess Cruises’ fleet and she last visited the city last summer.
Scousers are set to turn out at the cruise terminal to watch the ship depart for Belfast at around 7:45pm.
After this weekend’s visit, she will arrive again on Friday, July 28, at 8am and leave at 6pm.
And on Wednesday, August 9, she will return to Liverpool at 6.30am and depart at 8.15pm.
