A van driver has denied that he failed to stop after hitting a cyclist in Exeter.
Kazimierz Olszewski, 35, also pleaded not guilty to driving without due care and attention when he appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court on Tuesday morning.
Olszewski, a Polish national, admitted failing to report the collision which took place on Pennsylvania Road on October 9.
It is accused that he caused injury to Nicholas Hitt, damaged his Cannondale R900 road bike and failed to stop.
It is also claimed that he drove his Volkswagen Transporter van without due care and attention.
Olszewski, of Brooke Close in Exeter, will face trial at Exeter Magistrates' Court on January 26.
