Michael O'Hare (R) arrives with his protege Luke Cockerill (L), who took on his first head chef position at O'Hare's Manchester restaurant The Rabbit in the Moon earlier this year. The chef's Michelin-starred Leeds restaurant, The Man Behind the Curtain, came 45th in the list.
This year's Chef to Watch Elizabeth Haigh strikes a pose. Haigh helped put Pidgin on the Michelin map last year and has since founded the Kaizen House group, which will launch its first restaurant, Shibui, later this year.
Gary Usher arrives with his team, fresh from crowdfunding his upcoming Liverpool restaurant, Wreckfish. Two of the chef's restaurant featured on the top 100 list, Hispi at 54, and Sticky Walnut at 37.

Legendary chef Pierre Koffmann, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award last year, arrives at the event.
Chef James Cross arrives with his team from Cumbria's The Lake Road Kitchen. The restaurant was named the Sustainable Restaurant of the Year and also ranked 50th on the list.
Swedish chef Mikael Jonsson is regular at the National Restaurant Awards and also on the World's 50 Best 100-51 list. His London restaurant Hedone came 10th this year.
Mark Andrew (second from left) launched wine magazine Noble Rot in 2013, before opening the London restaurant and bar of the same name in 2015. As well as winning Wine List of the Year, the restaurant was named the 36th best in the UK.
It was a Bristol invasion with Casamia's Peter Sanchez-Iglesias (L), Bulrush's George Livesey (M) and Josh Eggleton of The Pony & Trap (R) all making the list. The chef's put on a a strong showing for the south west throughout the night with their restaurants ranking 6th, 29th and 74th respectively.
Chefs Simon Hulstone and Michael Wignall flew the flag for Devon at the awards. Wignall's restaurant at the luxury Gidleigh Park hotel won five AA rosettes in January, and ranked 53rd in the UK last night. Hulstone's The Elephant in Torquay broke in to the top 30 this year, coming 24th.
