EMILY ATACK has hit back at a supposed “compliment” on Twitter, quickly getting support from her fellow I’m A Celebrity contestant Scarlett Moffatt.
Emily Atack spoke out in view of her 251,000 Twitter followers yesterday after seemingly growing tired of people saying one thing in particular to her. The Inbetweeners star hit back at a “compliment” that she has seemingly heard more than once following her stint in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last month. The 29-year-old, who came second to Harry Redknapp on the ITV show, threatened to kick off if she heard it “one more” time. She was soon backed up by Scarlett Moffatt, Gogglebox’s Kate Bottley and even Rufus Hound on the micro-blogging platform.
Emily commented: “If one more person says ‘you scrub up well!’ to me… IT’S NOT A COMPLIMENT!!!!”
Her words were accompanied by an emoji of flexed muscles and her post was soon liked more 15,000 times.
“But I’ve seen her today, when she’s scrubbed up, and she looks all right.”
Presenter Scarlett, 29, shared her own experience in reply, which was posted to her 666,000 fans.
She wrote: “The best is when people say eeeeh your ‘actually’ very pretty @EmAtack.”(sic)
Kate Bottley then stated: “‘You’re not as fat in real life’ (has this twice last week) you’re both gorgeous btw x.”(sic)
