DONALD Trump is set to visit the UK on his first official visit as the US president this week. When is he coming? Will he visit London?
Ian Bond, director of Foreign Policy and the Centre for European Reform, said: “Trump’s visit will be more of a minefield than manna from heaven for the Prime Minister.
"He is hugely unpopular in the UK, and her invitation to him to pay a State Visit attracted a lot of criticism."
On top of the protests, the Mayor of London has approved a request for a giant balloon, dubbed the “Trump baby”, to be placed in the capital on Saturday.
Activist Leo Murray has raised the necessary £16,000 to pay for “Project Trump Baby”, a six metre-high inflatable version of the president sporting a nappy, which he intends to fly in the capital to embarrass the president.
After Mr Trump leaves the UK on Sunday night, he is due to fly to Helsinki for a meeting with Russia's President Vladimir Putin - prompting fears this may overshadow his trip to Britain.
