NORTH Korea could be placed on the list of states sponsoring terrorism, the US Secretary of State declared in the latest escalation of world tensions.
Rex Tillerson claims they aim to “bring pressure to bear” on the Kim Jong-un regime to halt the campaign for nuclear missiles.
“To reengage with us on a different footing than the past talks have been held. So yes, we're evaluating all of those options.”
North Korea was placed on the list for its 1987 midair bombing of a Korean Airlines flight that killed all 115 people aboard, most of whom were from South Korea.
