The chairman of Centamin has netted £18.1million by cashing in on a recovery in the global mining firm’s share price.
Josef El-Raghy sold around 10.4million shares in the Jersey-based company at an average of 175.1p.
Alongside his family, El-Raghy still owns 10.5m shares, equivalent to a 0.9 per cent stake.
In March, the 46-year-old sold £8.7million worth of shares and £5.6million in June last year.
The firm’s shares fell 28 per cent last month but have since recovered. They rose 0.9 per cent, or 1.6p, to 172.8p.
