Channel 5 has confirmed that YouTuber Trisha Paytas has voluntarily left Celebrity Big Brother summer 2017, just hours after surviving the second eviction of the series.
Having been nominated against three other housemates on Wednesday, Trisha faced the result of the public vote during tonight’s live show.
First, Emma Willis spoke to the house to announce that Chad and Sarah had been saved – but although Karthik was eventually booted out with the least votes, Trisha wasn’t happy, and said she wanted to leave the house.
She followed through on her threat at around 11.42pm, when, during the live post-eviction episode of spin-off Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, host Rylan Clark-Neal announced that Trisha had voluntarily quit the show.

In a statement, Channel 5 confirmed: “After 11 days in the Celebrity Big Brother Summer 2017 house, Trisha has decided to leave of her own accord and will not be returning.”
The full story of her departure will feature in tomorrow night’s highlights episode, which will have a ‘first look’ premiere on 5STAR at 9.00pm before airing at its usual 10.30pm time on Channel 5.
Trisha had also faced the first eviction earlier this week, which she put herself up for by accepting a pizza temptation during a task.
The 29-year-old was the first YouTuber ever to be cast on Celebrity Big Brother, and has amassed over 1billion total video views on the video sharing website.
