BREAKING: Family and friends scramble to find missing journalist 'followed by blue truck'

FAMILY and friends of a missing journalist, who claimed she was being followed by a blue truck, are scrambling to find her, it has emerged.

Courtney Roland, a sports reporter for Rivals.com, was last seen in Houston, Texas, on Saturday evening.

The journalist left a football camp in the area at 4pm (10pm GMT), according to social media.

Her last communication came at 12.30am local time (06.30am GMT) on Sunday when she told a friend she was worried about being followed by a blue truck leaving Walgreens, a US supermarket.

Ms Roland’s family have filed a missing person report with local police.

The reporter’s roommate, Autumn Vara, detailed that Ms Roland’s car was broken into six weeks ago - she has reportedly been on high alert since the incident.

Ms Vara stated that her and Ms Roland were supposed to meet up following the exchange, but she is yet to hear back from the journalist.
