Grab your hazmat suit and crack out the chemistry goggles - a Breaking Bad movie is on the way!
The creator of the iconic show, Vince Gilligan, is now working on a two hour feature-length movie “set in the existing Breakinf Bad franchise”, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
We don’t have many deets yet, but THR report that the film’s plot will follow “the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom” and that production will start on it THIS MONTH in New Mexico, where the original series was set.
It’s also rumoured that the project has been given the working title of ‘Greenbier’.
We’re yet to find out whether Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will return for the movie, or whether it will be a sequel, prequel like Better Call Saul, or another other spinoff entirely.
While the film is being made by Sony Pictures Television, who were also behind Breaking Bad, we don’t know yet whether it will come out in cinemas or be made for TV.
