BOMB SQUAD called to MAJOR airport as terminal is 'shut down by armed police'

A bomb squad has been called to George Bush Intercontinental Airport in the US after a bomb threat was reported as police with “machine guns” shut down Terminal C, it has emerged.

Bill Begley, a spokesman with the Houston Airports System, stated that a TSA dog sat next to a bag that was unattended.

The Houston Police Department told Express.co.uk that the bomb squad “haven’t found anything”.

He stated: “A dog hit on a bad, they (bomb squad) haven’t found anything, we have to hurry up and wait and see what the bomb squad says.”
