One man was found on the towpath while the other man was found in the water, according to local reports.
The bodies of two men have been found at a canal in a Gloucestershire village.
Officers were called to a stretch of the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal in Purton, near the River Severn, at around 9.45am on Sunday.
One man was found on the towpath while the other man was found in the water, the Gloucester Citizen newspaper reported.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said: "The deaths of both men are currently being treated as non suspicious.
"Police are in the process of identifying next of kin and the coroner has been informed."
Carolyn Wilcox, who lives near the canal, told the Gloucester Citizen: "We could see the helicopters and police out first thing this morning.
"A helicopter landed on the towpath and there must have been three ambulances and two police cars at least."
