Chaos has struck another of Britian's largest airports in the run up to Christmas as Birmingham Airport announced it has suspended all flights.
Birmingham Airport has reported an "air traffic control fault" forcing it to temporarily suspend all flights.
Eurocontrol, the organisation that manages air traffic across Europe, said flights are expected to be affected until 10pm meaning thousands of people are expected to be affected on one of the busiest days for Christmas get-aways.
The chaos comes in the same week a drone forced Gatwick airport to halt flights.
A Birmingham Airport spokesman said: "We have had to temporarily suspend services due to an air traffic control fault.
