Fan-favourite frontwoman will have TV reunion with Nikki Grahame in visit to UK
Arisa Cox, the host of Big Brother Canada, is to make an in-person appearance on Big Brother UK spin-off Bit On The Side next week, it has been announced!
In a move set to delight international Big Brother superfans, Arisa will be part of the discussion show’s celebrity panel on Monday night.
The news was revealed by BOTS frontman Rylan Clark-Neal at the end of last night’s post-eviction episode, as Arisa was flying out to the UK especially for the show.
On her Twitter page, she wrote: “No matter where you’re from, #BBFam is the best fam! @Rylan, you & the #BBUK team have my heart for making this happen at long last.”
Not only will Arisa meet Rylan and give her take on the latest BBUK action, she will be reunited with iconic Big Brother star Nikki Grahame, who was a houseguest on the fourth Canadian season in 2016.
Last night’s evictee Tomasz Wania, an avid viewer of the US and Canadian versions of Big Brother, is also due to join them on the panel.
Arisa’s visit comes after she made her debut appearance on Bit On The Side earlier this series via Skype video call, as part of the ‘BOTS Goes Global’ segment.
“For those of you who don’t know, me and Arisa, we talk all the time, we’ve been speaking for years online,” Rylan explained. “I love the Canadian version, Arisa loves the UK version.”
“I will always love Big Brother UK, I feel like this was the big introduction for so many of us,” Arisa commented. “You guys are the legends, and I will always be in your debt, because you leant us the fabulous force of nature Nikki Grahame for a season!”
At the end of the chat, Rylan pledged to “get all the Big Coins out of my pocket” in order to bring her to Britain.
This isn’t the first transatlantic crossover this year: BBCAN mastermind Trevor Boris joined the BBUK team as a senior producer, while Canadian housemate Neda Kalantar has also called in to BOTS.
Arisa’s appearance on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side airs on Monday at 11.05pm on Channel 5.
