GRAFITTI resembling the hand of Banksy has popped up along two garage walls in Port Talbot in Wales - but is it a genuine Banksy?

Swansea Bay resident Rachel Honey-Jones, 33, said: “It's amazing, an incredible addition to Port Talbot.

"Everything about it is political messaging, the way the boy has been drawn, the positioning near the steelworks, the fact it was done just after the (Severn Bridge) tolls went down." She added: ”If it's not Banksy then it's a very similar artist. Locals suggest the work's inspiration came from July this year after black dust fell from the town's steelworks covering houses, cars and pets.

When Banksy usually creates a new piece, confirmation will follow soon after on his website or social media.

Plaid Cymru Councillor for Aberavon, Nigel Thomas Hunt, told the BBC he was convinced the piece was a Banksy.

The bidder decided to keep the piece, which was subsequently renamed “Love is in the Bin”.
