A PLANE has crashed into an Arizona golf course, bursting into flames and killing all on board.
The plane plummeted into Scottsdale Champions Golf Course, shortly after takeoff from Scottsdale Airport, which is located north of the course.
More than half a dozen emergency vehicles rushed to the scene but Scottsdale Police said none of the six people on board had survived.
Shocking pictures from the scene show a blaze had engulfed the wreckage before the flames were extinguished by fire crews.
A police spokesman said the National Transportation Safety Board were on site and would be leading an investigation into the crash.
The plane that crashed was reportedly a Piper PA-24 Comanche aircraft which can carry a maximum of six passengers.
Witness Versace King told US media he was helping his father load a truck near the airport when he noticed a small, single-engine aircraft take off.
