ANTHONY BOURDAIN’S girlfriend, Asia Argento, has paid tribute to the TV chef after he died age 61.
The publication reported he was found dead in his hotel room in France and it’s believed he took his own life.
Anthony’s girlfriend, Asia, has now released a statement where she paid tribute to her “love”, “rock” and “protector”.
She wrote in a message on Twitter: “Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did.
“His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds.”
“I am beyond devastated. My thoughts are with his family. I would ask that you respect their privacy and mine.”
The couple reportedly met on the set of his show, Parts Unknown, in Rome two years ago.
They worked together on the programme and Asia even directed a recent episode based in Hong Kong.
