4G, 3G connection problems now resolved, say EE

EE Network issues should have now been resolved according to a new statement from EE.

“We’ve fixed a technical issue that affected mobile internet services for some of our customers this morning.

"All services are now being restored for our customers and should be back to normal soon.

"We’d like to thank our customers for their patience while we fixed this issue, and we apologise for any inconvenience”

“We’re aware of a data issue affecting some internet services for some of our customers."Phone calls and text messages are not affected in any way and are working as normal."We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we’re working to fix the issue as quickly as possible”

ORIGINAL STORY - Mobile network EE appears to be suffering from a major outage this morning with hundreds left unable to access most network services that require mobile data.

Independent outage monitor Down Detector has registered a peak of over 800 reports of the EE network being down, with the majority of those issues coming from users across the UK.

It's not clear what is causing the issues, but EE's official channels have not posted anything through their social accounts to suggest what the problem might be.

"Some customers are experiencing problems when trying to use data services this morning. We are aware of this, and are working to resolve this as soon as possible.

Understandably angry EE users have taken to Twitter to complain at the lack of service (again).
