Liverpool council is offering these reasonably priced courses at its adult learning centres across the city from this month.
Develop your photography skills with a focus on finding work at a £92, 11-week course at King David High School in Childwall at 6pm on Wednesdays from January 18.
Or take a £92, 11-week course more focused on DSLR/CSC camera skills at the Calderstones centre at 6pm on Thursdays from January 19.
Your loved ones will probably be grateful if you take a £155, 11-week course in head massages on Park Road in south Liverpool at 12.30pm on Thursdays, starting January 12.
Or try a £76, 11-week introduction to sports massages at the same venue at 9.30am on Fridays, starting January 14.
The Norris Green centre also runs a £225, 20-week course in facial massage and skincare at 9.30am on Tuesdays, starting January 10.
Tap your inner Bake Off extraordinaire with an £85, 10-week introduction to cake decorating at the Calderstones site at 6pm on Thursdays,, starting January 12.
Or learn to get out of the ‘meat and two veg’ mindset and save money with a £55, six-week veggie cookery course at the Newsham centre at 12pm on Tuesdays, starting February 28.
If you want to explore the best of Asian cookery, sign up for a £55, 10-week course at the Newsham centre at 10am on Thursdays, from March 2.
If you want to find out more about your roots, try a £76, 11-week introduction to family trees at the Park Road centre at 1pm on Tuesdays, from January 10.
And if you are interested in the history of “Olde Liverpool”, another £76, 11-week course is running in Newsham at 6pm on Mondays from January 9.You can also learn all about Liverpool’s many historic links to the USA in a dedicated £76, 11-week course at Park Road at 10am on Wednesdays.
